Some time ago I played Half-Life 2 and doing that it reminded me of why I love video games and first person shooters with a story in particular. For me the fun of playing this kind of games is that I get to be the main character of my own movie. And if the game’s world is as well thought and developed as Half-Life 2’s then it’s like being the main character of a super production.

If you don’t play games at all you might not have experienced the feelings above. It’s in some way like the difference between getting the news from a TV and browsing on the Internet and choosing your media sources. And also, if you haven’t played any of the first person shooter single player games I recommend you trying, the experience is amazing.
