I’m currently visiting the south of The Netherlands with my partner. Her family lives in a small village in the south surrounded by farms and forests.
Temperatures, like in most of Europe right now, are unusually cold and, also unusually for the Netherlands, everything is white.
The following photos show part of the area surrounding the village.
The sound muffling effect of the snow, the white light everywhere, and the wide open spaces all combined and made for an eerie impression and it was unlike anything I had seen before.
